If you missed the conference or want to relive some of it, head over to the store and download some mp3s.
I'm on a new mission/quest. I want to read Pollan's book (The Omnivore's Dilemma), and I'm interested in starting some kind of book-discussion group. Jodi attended the Bioneer's conference (for the 6th time) in October, and came back talking about Michael's presentation. I'll share what I come up with as I continue my research. (If anyone's seen this book, please do share something in the comments area below...)

Hi, Jason. My husband, Tom, reads your blog and forwarded this post to me. I checked this book out of the library and read the first few chapters before having to return it. It is now on my Christmas list because I could tell what a well-written and important book it is. You can also view a clip of Michael Pollan discussing the book with Bill Maher through Amazon. Just go here and you'll see the link for viewing the clip: http://www.amazon.com/Omnivores-Dilemma-Natural-History-Meals/dp/1594200823/sr=8-1/qid=1163450270/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/102-0458384-1136921?ie=UTF8&s=books

Omnivore's Dilema was the book of the month for the Slate.com audio book club. You can subscribe or just download the episode from itunes, or wherever else you get podcasts. Pretty good summary of the book.
