Consider eating smaller meals, more frequently through the day. Oft-called "snacking," it is easier on the system if you eat 5 or so meals a day, each one a little smaller than if you were eating "three squares a day."
If you are knowledgeable about caloric consumption, try dividing your daily intake by 5 or 6, and eating according to that schedule. Give it a good week or so, and see how you feel...


I've been doing this for a while now, and I've totally seen the results. Granted, I suppose it also has a lot to do with WHAT I'm eating, but I find that by eating smaller portions, and "snacking" at that first twinge of hunger pangs, I've had a lot more energy, especially those looooong afternoons, when 5:00 pm seems like an eternity away.
