We have a goal of helping people learn sustainable ways of reaching their goals. I've known and worked with Joe Bruzzese for many years...he continues to amaze me.
Here's the note he's drafted to send to Montecito, CA:
Hello Oprah,
"You are remarkable!"
A short and yet, profound statement that today’s teens and their parents miss on a daily basis. Most teens that is, except Katie.
Yesterday I spoke with Katie, one of remarkable teens I talk to each week. She shared highlights from her past few days.
“The last 2 days have been really exciting. I was called into the principal’s office, which normally wouldn’t be exciting, but today it was for a good reason. I received an award and a scholarship to attend a leadership conference this August.”
Had another great dinner in The City last night. Here are, from the past month of travels, two great places I'd go back to in a heartbeat:
Winterland
My mom initiated this one...it's another one of the fine area restaurants carrying the French wineries she represents. Great menu (changes regularly) and nice live music on a Thursday evening.
The Slanted Door
I've eaten here a couple of times, and the last time was just as good as the first. In the Ferry Building, overlooking the bay (with awesome views of the bridge), this place is fun.
If you have a calendar handy, mark your calendar for next year...
