What does inspiration have to do with productivity and performance?

I presented a full-day seminar to a group of city officials in Northern California last month. During lunch, three different people approached me and said:

"You speak to thousands of people per year, you talk about the same thing over and over again...how do you stay so excited about Professional Performance?"

It's a great question...

So, in an attempt to answer the question, in front of the entire audience of 60 people, I talked about the "castle of my mind." There is a significant moat around this castle, and I choose very, very carefully what and who gets in.

I shared with the audience my focus on putting "in" what I want to come "out." So, if I put information and inspiration in...results come out! (This is the focus of my coaching and consulting, writing and speaking work.) So, in order to continue sharing what I find informing and inspiring, here's something I've seen a few times!
