A journal entry about my own successes

A journal entry about my own successes
Yesterday in a seminar, someone asked, "How do you continue to stay engaged when the world is moving so fast, and changing all the time?"

This morning over coffee, these thoughts landed in my journal. The prompt: "What are the pieces - large AND small - of the puzzle of success?"

I'd love to continue the discussion; what do you think? Please leave a comment below!

Jason-

This is an interesting topic.

I would say it's knowing your outcome (vision) and working hard to see it happen.

Whether you see it happens doesn't necessarily have to be the test of success.

Hope that helps!

It's implicit in what you've written but I'll say it anyway - you need to "focus on it". The faster the world moves the harder that is to do. In fact focus is really about blocking out/removing/preventing the other things - a bit like magnification or photography. The only way to engage 100% on the chosen task is to disengage 100% from EVERYTHING else!
