If there was balance, then what?

For years now, I've coached with what I will call "seriously" successful leaders on a few continents. One thing I've heard people talk about is this seemingly elusive thing called "work-life balance." Just when I started to consider the "impossibility" of such an equilibrium, I saw this picture. Now, I'm rethinking it all!

Off course it is real, but some cement has been used. I've seen some of this kind so I know!!

I highly doubt that the picture is real.

You can draw a straight, vertical line joining the points each rock touches the other. This line is called the NORMAL and is the point at which the downward force equals the upwards force, hence the balance (hope this is correct - over 20 years since I did this in Physics!). Maybe balance is about each of us finding our own "normal"...
