An upcoming mind mapping (visual mapping) conference
I got a note from Brian Friedlander, and thought to share it with the community here...
I have been a HUGE fan of "visual mapping" for years. Somehow, my teachers in high school were onto something back in the 80's, and through university and then graduate school I relied heavily on this learning/assessing technique.
As a teacher in the late 90's (high school US History and Spanish Language), I used mind-mapping (as we called it) daily...and, now it's a primary tool in my writing, speaking and coaching practices.
Here is the note from Brian...
I am planning a mind mapping (visual mapping) conference and was wondering what topics you would want to see covered during a conference of this kind?
On October 3, 2008 I will be hosting a full day conference on how to use visual mapping to your advantage in your organization. Learn how to take visual mapping to the next level and see just how powerful a tool this can be, to help you reach your personal, academic, or business goals.
The conference will be hosted and led by Brian S. Friedlander, Ph.D. and his professional team of preeminent visual mappers who include: Adam Clayman, Stephanie Diamond, Chuck Frey, Arjen Ter Hoeve, Kyle McFarlin, and Wallace Tait. His assembled team comes from such areas as banking, psychology, manufacturing, business management, marketing and college teaching. For more information, visit this site.

Mind mapping is something I've always been something of which I've always been intrigued but never quite gotten down. It's a shame there's no webinar.
