I'm a bit early for my appointment this afternoon, so when I sat down and saw this flyer on the wall I thought I'd share...
Psychology
Sociology
Technology
Whenever I think about how the mind works, I think about habits, practices and the things that happen auto-matically. Seems like that first one - for anyone who already smokes - is in the "Zero Sum Game" area of health. Either you do ZERO or you do more than that...
The next one, well, that seems a little more "social." That is, does the store you shop at make it easy/appetizing to buy fruit and veggies? Also, do the people you lunch/dinner/dine with eat this way?
I've always thought (and believed), "Change who I spend time with...change what I do."
That, then, might address the "technology" of it all! Consider this: I follow a few triathletes (and other athletes) on various social media platforms *Twitter and Facebook* and whenever I jump in to their stream (yeah, I made a "list" to follow) I get re-inspired to get some exercise in.
Do share, what do you do to move toward better health?
