How quickly does a thought form? Take a look at this book cover, and run this thought experiment:
"If I buy this book, what will I learn about?"

I paused when I saw it.
As I finished a week-long Executive Program at Singularity University this weekend, I'm hyper-aware of the concept of exponential growth. Of course, I was studying it in context of technological advancement.
Of course, I would be interested in the mental side of "input/output." My continual thinking experiment follows this formula:
"If I see ________, I am likely to think about ______."
Then what I can do is go out to the end of the "equation" and fill in that second blank line. That is what I want to think about, so then I just write down some of the things I could look at.
So, what are you going to look for next?
