It was 8:30 a.m., or maybe a little earlier, and Jason W. Womack, M.Ed., M.A., already was well ensconced in conference room No. 2 on the 12th floor of a large global financial company in New York City. He had been there since around 7:30 that morning. The session he would lead that day on productivity, "Mastering Workplace Performance," was scheduled to begin at 9 a.m., but Womack knew most of the participants wouldn't arrive until later. He instructed me to arrive at 8:30 a.m. because he knew I would need time to get through the building's security protocol, but warned me via e-mail a week prior that the workshop would not be starting on time...

Great article. I had never noticed the arrow in the FedEx logo. It's also a good metaphor for Jason's ability to point out that which we already know but can't seem to accept as reality. Whether it's procrastination, disorganization, miscommunication, or any other "ation" that's keeping us from being our most productive selves.
