A lot of talk these days discounts the power of what, by when, and with whom.
Start with "Why?" but that's not the end. Keep going, ok?

When you look out and see where you are going, how you're getting there, what it will be like, and who will be around...that's all the SUPPORT you need to achieve your why.
Back in 2012, I published a book called Your Best Just Got Better. I spent an entire chapter on "Purpose." (That same year, Simon Sinek wrote an entire book on the topic...)
My advice remains the same after all these years:
1. Open your notebook.
2. Write one goal you have.
3. Write WHY you want to achieve it.
(Start with, "So that...")
4. Then, write at least 10 more "So that..." statements, each one developing the last one you write.
